With a wavelength of 1060 nm, Yalkaid is particularly beneficial for scanning patients with cataracts and vitreous opacities. Its invisible character minimizes fixation distractions. Moreover, its extensive 17 mm line scans and 15 mm 3D/OCTA scans cover a larger area compared to traditional SD or SS-OCTs.
